A parent of a student in your class has concerns about their child's relationship with another student. He asks you questions about the other student's behavior and emotional stability.
Disclosing any information about a student with parents or guardians other than their own is a violation of that student's confidentiality. You may discuss some problem solving strategies that the parent may encourage their student to use when navigating inter-personal relationships, however, you may not disclose any information about a student who is not under their care.
